The only problem with that is the fact that we all know Microsoft will stop allowing stuff to be made for XP. It will take a year or two, but it will happen. Also, Dell is selling XP computers, and Dell is cheaper than Alienware because Alienware only does gaming from what I've heard.

This is more a question for David Lancaster. I assume you guys have made the "Glorious Combat" video and others that can be found on Youtube with 3D Gamestudio. Why would you say that it is too limitted for your project, compared to Torque? The 3DGS 7 Pro seems to have everything Torque has. Can you elaborate? Which would you recommend for someone who is starting out? I do modelling and have done very basic game design.
Thanks

Torque is very difficult to program in, it's scripting language is good, but the C++ side of things is a mess, trying to edit or add to it to create your game around it is quite difficult. 3DGS has a very intuitive and flexible scripting language.

hello there. im new to the forums, and like your work. i have a web show on moddb.com and i am helping develop a total conversion mod for the game half-life 2. i noticed youre planning to put it on X-BOX, but your engine seems a bit outdated. i have friends at an independent game company called "wolfire", and they may license their engine soon. it appears to stand up to top game engines. your website seems a bit plain. i know that the game is still in a very early stage, but some of the content in the game doesnt seem up to par with most XBOX games. i have alot of connections within the independent and proffesional game development community, so if you need any developers or help, just let me know. thanks

Have you guys ever considered Unity3d?
Maybe for a sequel. I'm sure it can do everything you guys need.
